HEAR organises Application Advice Clinics each year. Application Advice Clinics provide an opportunity for you and/ or your parent(s)/ guardian(s) to drop in to meet with a member of the HEAR team to discuss your application.

Drop in anytime between 10am and 2pm for information on the HEAR and DARE Schemes:

Talk to DARE and HEAR advisors about your application.
Information videos will be shown hourly throughout the morning.
Applicants, parents, guardians, teachers, guidance counsellors all welcome.

Improved information for applicants on the allocation of DARE & HEAR reduced points places

Information on the number of reduced points places available per course and the method used by colleges for selecting eligible DARE and HEAR students for those places has been published by a number of college/universities on their websites. The information is also available on this site – choose any participating college page for details.

Prioritisation of Reduced Points Places

Colleges participating in DARE and HEAR have agreed to prioritise applicants eligible for DARE and HEAR when allocating reduced points places. This is in order to increase the numbers of students who have a disability and are from a disadvantaged background progressing to higher education.
